I like Blue Bayou but I never seem to just grab for it when working on cards. The color challenge today forced me to put a neglected color to use so I quickly decided to make it a dominant color with today's card. The butterfly is from Kind Thoughts and was first stamped in Soft Sky on the white panel. I stamped it again on a scrap of white using the Blue Bayou and then cut it out and attached it in the center so that the wings would be able to pop up a bit. I added some bling in the center that was as 'Certainly Celery' as I could find. It didn't seem to be enough Celery so I decided to incorporate the wide grosgrain as well. Can I just say that I love wide grosgrain ribbon? My narrow grosgrain is being completely neglected these days because I just love the look of the wider ribbon and tend to reach for it anytime I'm wanting to incorporate ribbon. Well, I have to finish setting up for tonight's Stamp-a-Stack so I must get to work! Thanks for stopping by!

This is gorgeous! So simple and elegant! I'm debating on getting this set, just afraid I'm too lazy to cut the buttefly out! lol! You did a great job!
I intentionally did not look at the color challenge. MAAAAAN... now I want to make a card with it. I LOOOVE Blue Bayou. Very nice card, Karen.
What an absolutely gorgeous card!
Karen, this is beautiful! I love the added sparkle on the butterfly body.
Hugs and smiles
