I know, I know...I have a class tomorrow that I need to prepare materials for and I have NO business making another card for today's challenge. On top of my class, I haven't updated Maddie's Shutterfly album since we got back from Florida and my sister is ready to kill me!! I think if she sees yet another blog post today, she'll really want my head on a platter!
Anyway, when inspiration strikes, you really just have to work with it, ya know? I thought about my circle card I did a while back and I thought about trying something with squares after I saw an embellished frame at Hobby Lobby. It had some of the squares popped up and some weren't and it just really reminded me of today's challenge so I started working on this card. I need to use more dimensionals on the squares because they really look kinda skewed so I'll have to work on that. I think if I add dimensionals on the corners instead of just the center of the squares, it will improve the overall look. Thanks for Mama Kate for letting me borrow this cute little ducky punch for another project. I thought it worked perfectly here for making a cute little baby card. Speaking of punches, I think it's about time I ordered the 3/4" square punch--it would have come in pretty handy while making this card!
Stamps: Warm Words
Paper: Chocolate Chip, Blush (PTI), DSP is from a package I picked up at Hobby Lobby a couple of years ago--sorry, I can't remember the name of it.

LOVE the ribbon (of course you know that by now)! This card is great. It was refreshing to see someone go "outside the box" and use something other than stamps.
This is beautiful and yummy!!
I love this card, Karen. I'm a big fan of color-blocking.
