Stampin' Up! has Revived my MOJO!

I don't know what to say...I feel like I've stamped more in the past two days for fun than I have all summer. I suppose it has something to do with the fact that many of my friends have returned to teaching and the pool doesn't open until 4 and Maddie's well into her nap by then ;). I know I could clean the house and I actually did do laundry today and clean up the kitchen...uhm, the rest of the house could use some attention, but there's always tomorrow, right? I know I already said it, but I will say it again...I LOVE UPSY DAISY! It's such a lovely little stamp set! My new stuff from SU! has really gotten me in the mood to create and I feel like I'm trying to squeeze in a new project with every spare moment! Kristina Werner,whom I've mentioned many times before, has posted her most recent Color Inspiration Challenge. I haven't completed one of her challenges in a long time and this one seemed perfect to use with my new favorite stamp set. I also thought my Kiwi Kiss satin ribbon would be perfect for the accent color so I hopped to it and made this card in under 30 minutes. Most of the time was spent trying to get the card cut down to a size I was happy with--4.5" by 5" in case you're wondering. This is an odd size for a card, but I didn't like the 4.25" square and I didn't really like what I had when it was a standard size SO I just cut it down to what looked good to me. Well, now I must go and make dinner so that I don't feel so bad about making TWO cards today while my living room and Maddie's toy room are seriously being neglected :-)
