Stamp a Stack

I have a lovely group of ladies coming over this afternoon to stamp so I'm in a bit of a hurry. I just wanted to share one of the cards we'll be making using some new papers that Stampin' Up! will be offering with its new collection coming out this August. The Bella Rose DSPs incorporate some of the new In Colors with Chocolate Chip and they're very pretty (of course, I'm partial to anything with Chocolate Chip). On this card, I used the Old Olive Grosgrain even though the paper is Kiwi Kiss--it's a bit off, but not enough to deter me from putting them together! The scallops were made using the new Scallop Edge punch which will also be released later this summer--it's a fun little tool!
Now, here's what happens when a two year-old child is left to her own devices while her mother gets ready for stamp camp. All I could think was THANK GOD she didn't do this when she was playing with the Copics the other day!! It's ballpoint pen ink so we'll see if I can get it out. Guess it's time to get some chair covers.... :-)

Your card is oh so fabulous! Love those colors and rows of scallopy goodness! Lovely! Yikes about your chair! Luckily those are easy to recover, maybe you'll go with something a little darker and a busy pattern to it for this next time! *wink*

Hairspray takes out ballpoint ink. Not sure how easily hairspray comes out of chair covers, however. On clothes you simply spray the hairspray on and the ink disappears. Then I treat the clothes with Shout to remove the hairspray. Trust me--I have been cleaning up after 2 boys for almost 16 years now. HA!

Try hairspray and if it's not machine washable just try a white wash cloth and it should come out. it happened to me and my daughter who wrote on the car seat of a rental car. it all came off.

Maddie is such a wonderful artist. Tear it off and frame it!
