Shoebox Swap Cards Part II

Everyone in our stamping circle seems to have a soft spot for Changito--he's just a festive little monkey, isn't he? Michelle used a recent sketch on SC to guide her in this card creation. The patterned paper shown on the first card is from Hobby Lobby (Paper Studio) and I'm not sure about the second. It may be from HL as well. Ya gotta love 4 or 5 sheets for a buck every now and then!


Krystal had a bunch of PTI's Aqua Mist left over from a recent project she had been HIRED to complete. If you didn't see the cute wedding programs she recently made, just trust me that they were beautifully done. Maybe she'll send me some pics to post the project here for those of you who are interested in seeing it. Anywho--she decided to pair the Aqua Mist with some Chocolate Chip and Whisper White and here you have it--a beautiful card! Krystal did CASE this from someone on SC and as I was looking at the Verve contest gallery from last weekend, I believe it is this card here. It's wonderful that we can find so much inspiration on Splitcoast!!

JoLynn made a fun Explosion Card which you can see and read about on her blog. She was kind enough to do almost all of the work for us ahead of time and she even made a lovely tutorial which I predict will be showcased on Splitcoast sometime soon!
Well, I have to run. We're having our front door replaced today and it looks like the guys working on it are pulling up...
