Today's sketch was PERFECT for me--it was just what I needed to get inspired to make a card because it was so simple that I knew I could make some cute and fast 'thank you' cards for Madeline's party. I know--enough of her birthday talk! This wi
ll be the last post--promise! I bought Saludos years ago when it was retiring. I didn't know if I'd ever have a need for Spanish sentiments, but I figured they might come in handy some day. I didn't know that day would come almost four years later! I hadn't even mounted the set so I'm sure the stamps were celebrating as the box was being opened. How sad to be neglected for this long!
This Dora image was one that I found by Googling Dora and it was also used on the party invites. The patterned paper is the same from the invitations as well. I decided to showcase my Dora image in the same fashion that I did for the cupcake decorations at the party. The only difference was that for the party, I printed the pictures of Dora on a full label sheet which of course already had adhesive on it. Then, I placed a toothpick between the image and the cardstock behind it which gave me a quick and easy cupcake decoration. I had some assorted sprinkles so that the kids could decorate their own cupcakes and it seemed to be the hit of the party so next year there may just be cupcakes at the party!
I am off to make a bunch of these cards...oh, who am I kidding...I'm off to get ready to go to the pool. I'll have to work on those cards tonight. Thanks for stopping by!

My daughter loved the card! She wants something like it for her birthday in August :-)
