KWCI8 and WT165

As soon as I saw Kristina Werner's Color Inspiration #8, I thought of the Jersey Shore DSP collection. I knew I would incorporate it somehow into my card and when I saw the Splitcoast Challenge, I knew that using it with chipboard would be a fun combination. I had some of the On Board Chipboard which I bought when it first came out. I went to grab the package and saw that it wasn't even open yet--GASP! I did a whole class using chipboard before but apparently I didn't use anything from the Elements package!

Covering chipboard with patterned paper is a really easy way to use all of that naked chipboard you have stashed away somewhere. I had this scrap of paper from the Jersey Shore Collection which had a bunch of different patterns on it and used it to cover all three of these rectangular pieces of chipboard. I sanded down the edges of the paper and then inked the edges with some Charcoal Colorbox ink just so the pieces stood out a little more. I didn't really do anything too elaborate--just lined 'em up and added a sentiment across the bottom. I sat and debated about adding something, but really I like it just the way it is. Be inspired--go open up your chipboard already!

I love the clean look of the card. Glad you didn't add to it, it looks good just the way it is. TFS, Amy.
