Yes, I am well aware that the girl in this image is FREAKISHLY thin--as are all of the girls depicted in the set She's All That. However, I just loved the silhouette images and knew I would have to have this set in my collection. I ended up earning it as a FREE set during Sale-a-Bration so thank you all for making this card possible. I LOVE, love, love this Afternoon Tea DSP which is also in the mini catalog. The colors are beautiful and the papers can really be used for both masculine and feminine cards which is nice--I feel like I can get more mileage out of it. I was in a big hurry this morning so I saved some time by inking the edges of each layer with some Dark Brown Colorbox ink--more layers would probably look nicer, but this trick works when you're in a pinch for time OR if you're out of cardstock in a particular color. I wrapped some wide grosgrain ribbon around my striped panel but it looked a little plain. I decided to try a ribbon slide since there really wasn't much room for a bow if I wanted to stay true to the sketch. While it was a little tedious getting that wide ribbon through that little slide, it did work and I think adds just the right touch. I had seen someone do it before so I knew it was possible :-). Well, I must run and try to set up Maddie's early birthday present--a little swingset! The water and sand table that I just finished assembling was a pain so I can't even imagine how much fun this swingset will be. I'm trying to get some kids (they might be in college:) to come help so Steve will be surprised that it's all done...we'll see how that works out for me!

Karen, your card turned out lovely. Hugs and smiles
Stinkin' cute. Frail coffee girl and all :) I love the colors.
Well coffee is a diuretic and she's taking a walk... so, that's probably why she's so thin! Adorable card. ;-)
