Today's Limited Supply Challenge was posted really early so I thought I'd tackle it before going to bed while watching 30 Rock episodes online. The challenge was tougher than I thought it would be--it didn't seem like it would be so difficult to make a card using one flower stamp. We couldn't use background stamps, Cuttlebug Embossing Folders or Designer Series Paper which didn't seem like too much of a hindrance at first. I decided to use a large flower as my focal point and it really seemed to limit what I could do. I tried stamping three of these images in two different colors, but I couldn't seem to lay them out in a way that worked for me so I scratched two of them and went with this plain and simple layout using only one of the flowers. Once I got down to the one flower, I REALLY wanted to incorporate some DSP or a background of some sort, but I couldn't! I think I may try this challenge again tomorrow if I have time and try using a smaller flower as a background stamp and finding a sentiment to work with as the focal point. We'll see...the house needs to be cleaned so who knows if that will happen. Off to bed now!
