A few weeks ago, JoLynn told me that if I wanted, I should send Kathy a card--she hadn't been doing well. I kept thinking about Kathy and the card I should make. Nevermind the fact that I had a box full of cards just sitting in my stamp room. No, I wanted to make a 'new' card. Maybe I would use Wonderful Wings--Kathy always loved that set. I would have those moments where I would think, "Karen, make that card for Kathy" and I would put it on my mental 'to do' list. I never got around to making that card and many of you know that it is with a very heavy heart that I now make this card for her daughter Tarah. I chose to use a heart as the main image because the first thing that comes to mind when I remember Kathy is how much she loved her daughter.
I guess I learned a lesson and that is that I'll never worry about making the perfect card for someone and risk never doing it. Is there someone you've been thinking about? My humble advice is to send that person a card...today.

Girl, I am weepy now. AMEN! Beautiful card.
Ok, now I'm crying. The card was beautiful, and yes--what a lesson. Love you.
