2 for 1

I had a lovely day shopping with Kate and Maddie yesterday so that left little time for any stamping. I combined yesterday's color challenge with today's sketch challenge in an effort to catch up on the challenges. Beth came over this morning and she let me play around with her Prismacolor pencils. After looking through my stamps, I decided this turtle image would be fun to color. I have been using Roseart Colored Pencils with Odorless Mineral Spirits because I didn't know if I wanted to invest in the Prismacolors. WELL, there was definitely a difference between the two types of pencils so maybe one day, I'll invest in some Prismacolors. The color is much more vibrant and they blend beautifully! One more thing to add to my wish list... :-)

If you didn't see my previous post, I have a stamp set I'm giving away so check it out!

Very cute turtle! I just got some prismacolor pencils and am learning how to color with them. It is fun to practice shading with all the pretty colors. Thanks for sharing your card.

Hey, NO FAIR you got your polka dot set from Papertrey already? I ordered on Friday and I am still waiting for mine! I told you the Prismacolor pencils are great. I love mine! I recently invested in more Prismacolor markers as well because I love the fine point on them. Copics are too expensive to get the fine point.
