TLC153: Dahlia Fold

Today's Technique Lovers Challenge was to make a card using the Dahlia Fold. I goofed and used too large of a circle punch so my completed flower ended up being way too large for a card front. I ended up just using a portion off to the side and while it didn't line up perfectly, I knew it was the best I could do with what I had. If you try this technique, you'll want to use 1.5" circles (the Stampin' Up! 1 3/8" punch would work beautifully). I thought the larger circles would be easier to work with, but I didn't realize how large the final product was going to be! Live and learn.
Stamps: Sincere Salutations
Inks: Chocolate Chip, Pretty in Pink
Paper: Berry Bliss DSP, card base if from the generic greeting cards purchased from Michael's or Hobby Lobby. I cut it down to a 5.5" square
Accessories: Giga Circle Punch, Wide Satin Ribbon
