SC192: Scallop Envelope

Has it really been 10 weeks since I've participated in a sketch challenge? I guess it has! Today's sketch was perfect for me since I had this little scallop envelope left over from a demo at my workshop last week. Even though I did purchase the Big Shot which I love, I know most of my customers are only interested in whether or not the dies will work with their Cuttlebugs. I had some women ask about this last Thursday and so we tried out the die with the CB and it worked beautifully! So, I needed to make a card using this cute little envelope and I decided to do a card very similar to the one we did that night. I used the sketch for my layout though I probably could have made that bottom panel a little narrower and it was supposed to go down to the bottom three edges of the card. Oops...I got a little carried away with the layers. What can I say? That's what happens when you look at the sketch at 5:30 in the morning before you go to the gym and rush home to make a card before your daughter is awake...probably would be worth double-checking the sketch! I added some Felt Fusion and one of the decorative brads from the Silver Hodgepodge Hardware to add some interest to the ribbon along with some plain brads in the bottom corners. I typically don't add this much stuff to my cards but hey, a person is allowed to stray once in a while, isn't she? Hope you are all having a great week and I appreciate your visit!

For those of you interested in classes, I have SOME events posted in September and October so please take a look at the calendar--thank you!
