KWCI23: Fifteen Minute Card

I made this quick card for Kristina Werner's Color Inspiration Challenge. I can't get onto her blog for some reason so I'll have to add her graphic later. The colors are very reminiscent of fall and it's another sad reminder that summer has come to an end. I bought this paper from Archiver's the other day and I have no idea what it's called or who made it. It's a shimmery paper that I thought would work well for a 'fall' card and here Kristina gives me an opportunity to use it within days. I added the tree as an afterthought because the card looked a little too plain and then to make matters worse--I stamped the sentiment (from Hero Arts) kinda crooked. I figured some other element was needed to take the focus off of the sentiment so I decided a tree would work. I used a tree image from Papertrey Ink and added some accent circles in Bravo Burgandy, Pumpkin Pie and So Saffron to finish it off. It looks a little busier than I had envisioned, but the glue dried very quickly and I really didn't feel like making another tree so I've decided to just love it and move on :-)
I really do like these colors and will try to make something else later this weekend if I have time!
