KWCI22: A Hot Mess

Do you ever make a card and you just look at it and think...what the hell was I trying to do? Yes, that's kinda what happened today. I really wanted to make a card--I was just in the mood. It's rainy, it's gloomy...ugh, I just needed a little pick me up, ya know? I decided to attack Kristina's Color Inspiration Challenge and I ended up making a card with three different colored butterflies which reminded me too much of the card I made last week. I scrapped it and somehow ended up with this and it's just not what I had in mind. The larger background image is stamped in Regal Rose and the butterfly and sentiment are in Bravo Burgandy. I used a light blue rhinestone in place of the Soft Sky and I ended up leaving out the Rose Red. Maybe I'll play around with the design and try to rework it into something I can use for my stamp-a-stack on Tuesday...we'll see!

Maybe you've just been looking at it too long and can't see it with a fresh eye... This is one my my fave I've seen so far! The design is great and I love the butterfly with the rhinestones in the center - very elegant!
