Open House: A Success!

I had so much fun last night sharing the new catalog with everyone who came to my Open House. It was a little crowded, but everyone was so absorbed in the new catalog that it wasn't too bothersome :-). Speaking of the new catalog--it seems to be unanimous that it's fabulous! If you are interested in ordering, please let me know by Thursday. I am hoping to get the order placed by Friday. I did place some of your orders today so that they could begin processing since it's bound to take a little longer than usual with all of the new orders being placed this week.

This card was one of the make-and-takes from last night. It was a simple, fast card that showcased some of the new products. Dreams du Jour is a new set that I am liking more and more each day. The Bella Rose DSP is another new product which some people joked they are almost sick of already since they've been seeing it so much on Splitcoast and other blogs. I'm not too sick of it yet and plan on ordering another pack! Okay, can we just take a minute to talk about the DESIGNER SERIES PAPER in this new catalog? They're beautifully designed and I can't wait to get my hands on almost every single pack! SAD but true--I think I want almost all of them!
Thanks again to everyone who came last night and congrats to all of the door prize winners! The only people who were not present to claim their prizes were Kelly (okay, she wins whenever I'm giving something away!) and Shellie. You both have the Level 1 Hostess DSP sampler pack from the last catalog coming your way! Well, I suppose I had better go finish cleaning up the basement. I'm so excited about my new products coming next week that I MUST get my room cleaned up and organized so that I'm ready to start stamping as soon as my UPS guy shows up at the door :-)
OH, before I let you get on with your lives...can I just say that I LOVE the Olympics! The swimming has been so exciting to watch and Maddie has really enjoyed watching gymnastics with me. She especially liked watching the men on the rings. Go USA! Oh, okay...you know I did have to cheer for that Korean kid who was swimming for Korea's first gold medal in swimming. How sad that he fell in the pool and got disqualified in Athens when he was like 14 years old!! POOR thing--so happy he redeemed himself. I called my mom and yes, the Koreans were all excited about it at church on Sunday :-)

Beautiful card! I love the simple, elegant cards! I'm not sick of Bella Rose yet either, although my blog readers may be as I use it constantly!! lol! Sounds like a super fun open house you had, congrats!

Was it crowded? I love gathering around the Little Korea table. One of my favorite things! It was so much fun to be there. We were all so non-stressed for a bunch of teachers at this point. The cards were great as was the hospitality. I even won a door prize, which is shocking and crazy! Thanks for all of your coordination, dealer!
