Love You a Latte!

I have been having a lot of fun getting ready for the Pun Fun class tomorrow. This particular card uses another fast and easy layout. I started with the 4" x 3" piece of patterned paper from the Afternoon Tea DSP collection in the mini catalog. I LOVE this paper--the patterns and colors are beautiful! When I first saw it in the mini, I didn't really notice it. JoLynn ordered a pack and when it came in the order I saw that the colors were really beautiful--the photos I guess just didn't do them any justice. Then, it seemed like I was seeing card after card on Splitcoast using the paper and the rest is history--now I'm the proud owner of a package and will be adding another pack on my next order. SOMEONE, please call for an intervention--it's way past due. Back to the card...I used Chocolate Chip and Groovy Guava as the main colors since I thought having a Soft Sky card base might be a little too monochromatic. I sponged the Guava cardbase with the same colored ink and then stamped the Filigree background stamp in Guava as well. The latte image was stamped in Basic Brown and then colored in using some Groovy Guava and Soft Sky ink with an Aqua Painter. I finished the card by distressing the Chocolate Chip layers and the card base and added some Chocolate Chip twill and the cute little ribbon slide. I decided not to color or fill the slide with anything and I actually like it the way it is! I have more cards to post, but I will save them until after the class. After all, there need to be some surprises for those who attend, right? Thanks for stopping by!
