Sorry I've been away from the blog...I've been busy getting ready for the Christmas party I host for my BEST customers! Here is a sneak peek of one of the projects we'll be making. I ordered these cute little tins that I thought would be great for this project but they were backordered until January! UGH! Fortunately, Splitcoast came through as usual because they recently had a challenge where they asked participants to use acetate for the cover of the nugget box--genius solution to my problem! After all, I liked the tins because they had a clear top and the cute little nuggets showed through.
I've recently plunged into the world of acrylic stamps and one company I really like is Papertrey Ink. Nichole Heady was on the PaperCrafts Pro team for a while and she was also a Stampin' Up! demonstrator at some point. She started this stamp company and the designs are clean and classic. She uses a lot of Stampin' Up! products in her samples so that's nice, too! Some acrylic stamps don't work very well with dye inks, but these are GREAT with SU! inks which works for me! The set I used for this project is called Holiday Treats and it includes three different stamps that fit on Avery labels which can then just be wrapped around the nuggets. The set also includes a bunch of cute coordinating stamps which are perfect for those of you who like making homemade goodies for Christmas gifts.
Can't wait to show you all of the other fun projects we'll be completing on Thursday!
